How to download movies using torrents

WHAT ARE TORRENTS?

TORRENTS are specialized files utilized in peer-to-peer (P2P)) network environments. P2P is a network of personal computers that communicate with one another by running proprietary P2P software or simply what we call torrent client.

To make it simple, here’s what you have to do:

1. Get a torrent client. (for example, UTorrent)
2. Go to a torrent site and download the torrent. (for example, www.torrentspy.com then search for the movie title)
3. After you had downloaded the torrent, right click and open it with your torrent client.
4. Downloading will then begin.
5. You need to have the correct media player to play your video because not all videos can be played using Windows Media player.

Fs2you is not a good place to store your files!

If you’re looking for a file hosting site or a place to store your files online for free,

I would suggest you STAY OUT OF www.fs2you.com/en. 

The site is totally a crap!!

The first time I checked out their site about a month ago, it says there’s no limit to upload file size, no limit to storage blah blah blah. Yet, after a month, after I had uploaded my stuff, they put up an announcement saying they are now getting more and more popular and their resources are limited so they decided to come up some “restrictions” (but what they actually meant was “deletion policy”)

And their stupid, crazy new policy is to keep your account healthy and they even set up their own “health account meter” that only god knows, how they come up with their computation!

They are forcing ( and I really mean the word!) members to share files and to be at level with their “health meter” or else, they will delete what they call as “unhealthy files” and you must do so within 5 days!!

I had a lot of people downloading my files from my website but that seems to be not enough with fs2you. Yesterday, I got an email from these Chinese guys from fs2you to tell me that they deleted ’some’ of my unhealthy files. When I checked on my account with them – omg, they deleted almost everything!!

Really a bad experience for me. It was all just a waste of time, effort and bandwidth !!

Problems with Fs2You file hosting site!!!

It is difficult to find a file hosting site that could really serve its purpose.

Fs2You – this site used to be a very good place to store your files, even though their site set up isn’t so good, at least you keep your files safe and handy whenever you need them online.

But lately, they have released an announcement saying that ever since they got ‘popular’, they have to delete files that will not qualify to their so called, “health account meter” and the computation for this meter is really ridiculous. And they’re going to clear out all files that don’t meet requirement within 5 days – imagine, that’s just 5 FREAKING DAYSSS??!!

I’m so pissed off! I never thought that the site would turn out to be so strict, too strict than the other file hosting sites!

Don’t store your files there if you don’t want them to get deleted!

Setting up formmail on your website the easy way!

I really don’t know what title to use for this post. If you’re a beginner and you’re trying to build your website, setting up “formmail” can be quite a task especially for someone like me.

I have limited knowledge of html and javascript and other website thingy (I learn things only through online tutorials, forums, etc) I use a free web hosting acct with no email support. And on top of that, when online people starts to talk about php or whatever term they use, I simply couldn’t find my way back to reality lol!
It took me almost a day before I got to this javascript thing to set up my formmail easily on my own site http://myvideolinks.110mb.com ( a site where you can download movies for free)

Ok, for those who are not so familiar with the term (like me, at first), it is, simply put, a method wherein viewers can send you messages without having to know your email address. They just go to your site and click on either CONTACT US or FEEDBACK FORM or something like that (or whatever you may have set up on your website for them to be able to contact you). That will somehow give you the idea of what I’m talking about.

I use this javascript thingy FORMMAIL(or whatever you may call it!) on my site http://myvideolinks.110mb.com, so that the people, who are downloading my movies, will have a way to give me feedback or send me messages without having to give out my email address.

Divx web player – how to use it to stream your own avi/divx movies

if you have ur avi/divx video files hosted somewhere else and have DIRECT link to it, you can stream videos (only avi and divx) using the divx web player.

here is the divx web player code (example)

all you have to do is change the value=“your_direct_download_link” (notice that you have to change it twice, as you can see on the divx web player code above in red)

Please note that this only works, if you have a DIRECT download link to the video.

Usually when you sign up for a free file hosting acct, the DL links are static.

To download a file, clicking on the given link will take you to the file hosting site where you need to click another download link. the 2nd download link is the one that is unstable – meaning, it is a download slot and not a direct link to your files.

Once a download slot is used, their system will generate another download slot for the next downloader. You would be able to download files but you might not be able to use it to stream videos.

Real time hit counter – try this!

I had been desperately searching for an accurate counter that could tell me exactly how many people are online on my website in real time and couldn’t find any, until I came across WHO’S AMUNG US.

Their widget could tell you how many viewers are online, what page they are on and there’s even a map that shows you where these viewers are! (by the way, the info you see on the map changes as your viewers come and go. There’s no need to refresh the page) Isn’t that impressive?!

On top of that, they even have a Firefox plug in, so just by looking at your browser, you could immediately see your stats! If you click on the plug in, it pulls up a page to show you the map where your visitors are coming from. So brilliant!

Downloading can be frustrating especially if you’re you’re using IE browser and without a Download Manager. There are times when a short connection interruption cuts you off from the server side and you have to start downloading again from the beginning.

Using a Download Manager makes things faster and easier for you to download stuff from the internet. There are a lot of Download Managers that you can get online for free. Let us name a few:

FREE DOWNLOAD MANAGER (FDM) – (my favorite)

Free Download Manager is a full-featured download accelerator and manager. It can resume broken downloads. So you need not start the downloading process from the very beginning after casual interruption. You can resume unfinished download from the moment when it was interrupted. Also this program warns you if resuming isn’t supported by the servers. It allows you to make a decision about the downloading.
